I’m Dondria. Singer. Songwriter. Poet. Woman of love and depth.
Raised in Texas, rooted in Atlanta, and reborn through every lyric I write.
You might know me as Phatfffat, the girl who went viral singing in her game room and caught the attention of Jermaine Dupri. That YouTube moment led me to a record deal with So So Def and a classic debut album, Dondria vs. Phatfffat, featuring the R&B favorite “You’re the One.” But after the bright lights faded, I found myself searching, chasing formulas, approval, and success that didn’t feel like home.
Then came the shift. A season of depression, stillness, and surrender. I lost control, but I found something greater: myself.
Through therapy, prayer, and poetry, I began to heal. I started creating not to please but to feel. To tell the truth. To connect.
That rebirth is what Back to Love is all about.
It’s my newest album and the most honest thing I’ve ever made.

I make music that moves you, from your heart, from your soul.
I sing for the women reclaiming their voice.
I write for the ones doing the inner work.
I speak for the girl I used to be and the woman I’ve grown into.
My work centers love: romantic love, self-love, divine love, tough love, and the love that heals when all else fails.
I’m also a wellness advocate, plant-based foodie, fitness lover, and proud member of The Recording Academy.
When I’m not in the studio or on stage, you’ll catch me journaling, traveling, in the gym or doing yoga/pilates, planning my wedding, or spending time with my favorite people.
